Your Chakras

Your Crown Chakra:  "Thousand-fold"

Thought ~ Oneness ~ Divine Nature

The Sahasrara is the space of ineffable, pure consciousness. A state of enlightenment or oneness with the Universal truth of who you really are. There are more neuro-connections in one human brain than stars in our entire universe. There are more cells in one human body than grains of sand on our planet…so who is bigger? When the crown chakra comprising the top of the head and cerebral cortex is enlivened it can then witness this “truth of oneness” in every other center of the body, right down to the cellular level. When the crown is open healing occurs at quantum speed.

Your Brow Chakra:  "Percieve/Command"

Light ~ Symbol ~ Archetypal Nature

The Ajana chakra is located between the brows in the inward, center of the forehead. It's associated with the pituitary gland, eyes, and brain. It literally means to command. Often called “the third eye” it governs our internal and external sight and smell. This center is where we learn how to “move mountains” with our inner vision. To create the most abundance with the least amount of effort. This center also governs our inner life cycle clock, triggering puberty, adulthood and eventually the physical transformation of returning to Spirit through a process we call death.

Your Throat Chakra:  "Purification"

Sound ~ Expression ~ Conscious Nature

The Visuddha Chakra, our center for communication is governed by the element of sound. We often think of sound as noise, but this chakra encompasses sound all the way down to the “vibrational” level. When two people communicate well they are said to be on the same “wavelength”. When we enjoy a balanced Throat Chakra (the throat, mouth and ears) we can speak our truth as well as listen with the integrated supportive foundation of all the lower centers.

Your Heart Chakra:  “Unstruck Sound”

Air ~ Possibility ~ Altruistic Nature

The Anahata Chakra is our center for balance, giving and receiving. The name Anahata means “un-struck sound” referencing the space for potential. Air is the primary element of this center and holds the potential for all life, just as the heart is the central hub for the rhythm of our physical life. This center is the bridge between physical and spiritual, Heaven and Earth, Male and Female. Ideally our heart center would be where we find “middle ground” or balance in our relationships with all our surroundings, people, places and things.

Your Belly Chakra:  “City of Jewels”

Fire ~ Transformation ~ Ego Nature

The Manipura Chakra is our inner fire element that connects us to our center of personal power, self-esteem and personality. Transformation an essential center of life itself, everything is always in a state of change. Manipura helps us become conscious of our inner ability and motivation. In the physical this center, the solar plexus, is the hub of the digestive processes transforming raw physical material into energy.

Your Sacral Chakra:  “Ones Own Place”

Water ~ Movement ~ Emotional Nature

The Swadisthana Chakra carries the element of water and holds the fundamental quality of creativity. It is here that the energy for our instinctual creativity is nurtured. This Chakra is at the reproductive center of the low abdomen and sacral plexus. It is at this space we become conscious of Eros—the creative urge and inter-playfulness with the other…and begin to move.

Your Root Chakra:  “Root Support”

Earth ~ Foundation ~ Physical Nature

The Muladahara Chakra is the earth element grounding force and represents the beginning of life or survival. This chakra is at the root or foundation of the subtle system, and physically situated at the perineum. It is considered the “sleeping place” of Kundalini Shakti—the Spirit of awakening manifestation and inspiration. The root holds all potential in the raw elements of creation.
